Job Title: Accounting Assistant Location: Paris, KY Job Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire | Onsite (1 Remote Day/Week Available) Pay Range: $20–$23 per hour Job Description: We are seeking an Accounting Assistant for a full-time, direct hire position in Paris, KY. This entry-level role provides key support to the accounting team with a focus on cost tracking, data entry, and general accounting functions. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and eager to grow in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment. Responsibilities: Maintain accurate cost records for products and services Assist with job cost estimates by collecting and entering data for estimators and engineers Record production costs including materials, labor, and overhead Update part numbers and bills of materials in the accounting system Generate standard cost and financial reports Assist with reconciliation and documentation during physical inventory counts Support the month-end close process through data collection and basic reconciliations Compile budget information and organize supporting documentation File and manage accounting records and related data Perform general administrative and accounting support tasks as needed Qualifications: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (preferred) Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting Proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, sorting, filtering) Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems is a plus Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry Good organizational and time management skills Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Eagerness to learn and take on new responsibilities Schedule: Monday through Friday, full-time business hours Onsite in Paris, KY with the option to work remotely 1 day per week after training To Apply: Submit your resume for immediate consideration.
