Job Description

The AML Analyst is responsible for executing audit processes for Anti-Money Laundering (AML)/Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) compliance. This includes ensuring that all appropriate and required documentation is received and reviewed, identifying audit issues and summarizing findings in a clear and concise manner, recognizing patterns of suspicious activity, and communicating detained information to management for resolution and further analysis, and filing required reports in a timely and accurate manner. Responsibilities include working in a fast-paced environment, multi-tasking, meeting deadlines, performing daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly audits and investigations to meet AML/BSA requirements, independently developing, analyzing, and recommending alternative solutions, ensuring accurate reporting, adapting to changes, participating in departmental discussions, evaluating and recommending improved work procedures, and performing other job-related duties as assigned. The position does not have supervisory responsibilities. Requirements include at least one year of prior AML or Compliance experience, knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to demonstrate the highest level of integrity. Preferred qualifications include experience in customer due diligence, knowledge of gaming systems, experience in a casino resort setting, and a bachelor's degree in finance, criminal justice, or related field or equivalent industry experience. Certifications/licenses required include the ability to qualify for federal, state, and local licenses and permits, a valid Nevada Gaming License before entering the position, and CAMS certification preferred but not required. Physical requirements include the ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds occasionally, work various shifts including weekends and holidays, and perform physical movements such as pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, twisting, kneeling, and balancing. Working conditions include indoor climate-controlled environment with exposure to noise, dust, smoke, and close spaces while working with others.
