Shift: Mon-Fri

Pay-Starts at $28

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage various types of trucks, including those with manual transmissions and specialized trailers.

Duties

• Drive various types of trucks, including refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, and delivery vehicles.
• Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel use, and any incidents that occur during transport.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.
• Follow all safety protocols while on the road and during loading/unloading operations.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations while adhering to scheduled routes.

Experience

• Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
• Familiarity with operating manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
• Experience with trailers, tankers, or dump trucks is a plus.
• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of load securing techniques and safe driving practices.
