About Merchandising at Sephora

Our merchandising team builds brands, starts trends, and develops new product categories. We advise our brands on how to meet customer demands and create compelling assortments through storytelling across stores and digital platforms.

Your role at Sephora

As a Director in Hair Merchandising, you will develop objectives and brand strategies for the US market, implement department projects, and lead a team to meet financial goals. You will also partner with the SWAK team and own the promotional strategy for the total hair category.

• Develop and execute growth strategies for new products and current brands
• Source and develop new brands to fill category gaps
• Manage brand relationships, negotiations, and promotional activities
• Interpret management direction and communicate with team members
• Coordinate fixture and planogram planning, launches, and marketing activities
• Mentor and train team members
• Uphold Sephora values of Passion for Client Service, Innovation, and Teamwork

We’re excited about you if you have

• 7+ years retail senior merchant/director experience
• Proven ability to develop category/brand strategies
• Experience managing and developing teams
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and travel as needed
