As a Marketing Specialist on our Field & Brand Advertising Strategy team, you'll serve as the primary liaison between our home office Marketing team and field locations across North America-partnering with market leaders to bring strategic media plans, national and local advertising campaigns, and high-impact marketing efforts to life.
In this role, you'll connect market insights, consumer research and local priorities to shape advertising strategies that make a difference-leveraging channels like TV, radio, digital, print, outdoor and direct mail to educate and engage adults 55+ as they make important life decisions. You'll work closely with agency partners, field stakeholders and internal creative teams to recommend tactics and ensure field marketing efforts are effective, on-brand and tailored to meet local needs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Field Marketing Strategy & Support
- Partners with field leadership to assess market needs and recommend strategic marketing solutions that drive awareness, engagement and business growth.
- Develops custom marketing plans that align with local goals while supporting national strategies.
- Collaborates with internal teams and agency partners to execute regional and market-specific campaigns across key channels-including TV, radio, digital, print, outdoor, flyers and direct mail.
- Provides thoughtful, responsive support for field requests, offering solutions that meet local needs while upholding brand standards.
- Serves as a strategic, relationship-focused point of contact for marketing needs across business units, primarily for Dignity Memorial®-the industry's leading brand, serving 400,000 families annually.
- Supports local adoption of national campaigns by helping tailor messaging, materials and targeting where appropriate.
- Presents marketing plans, recommendations and performance updates to market and location leaders.
- Stays abreast of local market dynamics, organizational updates and evolving field needs-ensuring the Marketing team has the context needed to deliver timely, informed and relevant support.
- Assists AVP of Brand Marketing & Location Experience and Director of Field & Brand Advertising Strategy with projects as needed.
Project Management & Execution
- Acts as the central coordinator for field marketing requests-engaging the right resources, aligning on objectives and facilitating timely execution.
- Evaluates deliverables for strategic fit, brand alignment and field readiness-providing feedback to creative and agency partners to ensure materials meet local needs.
- Manages timelines, deliverables and feedback loops across multiple concurrent projects.
- Promotes self-service tools like the SCI Ad Builder to support location-level access to customizable, on-demand sales and marketing assets.
Brand Collaboration & Stewardship
- Advocates for brand alignment and a consistent consumer experience across all local marketing efforts.
- Collaborates with Brand Advertising Strategy teammates to ensure field requests align with overarching brand campaign strategies and goals.
- Acts as a brand ambassador within field-facing conversations, helping ensure materials uphold brand standards and reflect a cohesive identity across national and local channels.

EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE/MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience of marketing or advertising, ideally in a corporate or multi-location field support environment.
- Experience collaborating with field-based stakeholders and agency partners.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to balance strategic planning and day-to-day execution.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Comfortable presenting to small and medium-sized groups.
- Experience in multicultural marketing a plus.
- Bilingual in Spanish/English a plus.
- Senior marketing experience a plus.
