Urgently hiring  Multiple Aerospace Leadership Instructors and Aerospace Assessors!

Spherion Staffing is looking for a motivated Instructor & Assessors at a large aerospace facility in  Everett and other locations ! Our Instructor & Assessors will work within the Training Department, playing a key part in delivering engaging training programs on aerospace-related topics.

• As an  Instructor , you will  deliver existing content  centered on aerospace manufacturing systems. Your responsibilities include leading practical demonstrations to empower aerospace employees with essential skills and knowledge for their success.
• The Assessor  is responsible for administering  hands-on mechanical assessments for students in a controlled testing environment. The Assessor evaluates hands-on  projects that simulate real-world aircraft parts and systems _ . The primary duty is to objectively assess a student's ability to correctly complete the assigned task without providing any instruction, coaching, or assistance.

The ideal candidate will have strong  technical skills and the ability to teach a variety of aerospace courses. This role involves providing training in several key areas, including electrical installations, mechanical skills, sealant application, and environmental health and safety (Instructors).

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive lesson plans and training materials in accordance with industry standards and educational best practices
• Provide both theoretical and practical instruction, ensuring students gain hands-on experience with relevant tools and equipment
• Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and practical evaluations, offering constructive feedback to facilitate improvement
• Objectively evaluate student performance and assign a pass or fail grade
• Maintain a safe and conducive learning environment, adhering to all institutional and industry safety protocol

Instruct students in various aerospace subjects, including but not limited to:

1. Electrical Instructor

• Electrical Aircraft installations and assemble work
• Electrical Functional Test troubleshooting

2. Aerospace Mechanical Skills Instructor

• Electrical installations, Bonding & Grounding
• Aircraft assembly, Heavy Structure Drilling, and/or Maintenance
• Blueprints, productions standards, and/or Functional Test

3. Aerospace Seal Instructor

• Experience in the application of Aircraft Sealant application
• Clean and apply a sealant to aircraft components

4. Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Instructor

• Experience in Confined Space, Lock Out Tag Tryout (LOTTO), DOT, and Fall Protection

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to instruct technical courses in the Aerospace industry
• Manage basic technology to deliver training
• Prior experience working for an aerospace company is desired
• Previous experience in customer service

Required Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
• Prior teaching or instructional experience is a plus but not required
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• 1-3 years training, leadership or management experience preferred-Good understanding of mechanical principles and tool usage.

We’re looking for dedicated candidates who are flexible and open to working across 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts and willing to travel within the  Everett to Puyallup area.

Mileage reimbursement is available for qualifying commutes beyond the closest work location—$0.70 per mile !

Weekly pay through Spherion Staffing

Pay rate: $32/hour

Overtime opportunities available – earn $48/hour for extra shifts!

The contract may be extended based on performance, and there’s potential for  transition into a direct hire position if openings become available.
