Description About the Role The Manager of EDI will oversee and manage the electronic data interchange (EDI) activities across various departments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless integration and communication between our systems and those of our trading partners. This role requires a strong understanding of EDI standards, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with different teams. What You will Do : Supervise and Lead EDI Team : Direct individuals on EDI team on specific tasks within given projects Manage and coordinate EDI activities across multiple departments, ensuring timely and accurate data exchange Develop, implement, and maintain EDI processes and procedures to meet industry standards and best practices Collaborate with IT, customer service, supply chain, and other relevant departments to ensure EDI requirements are met Monitor and troubleshoot EDI transactions to resolve any issues promptly Work closely with trading partners to establish and maintain EDI connections and ensure compliance with their requirements Provide training and support to internal teams on EDI processes and systems Stay updated with the latest EDI technologies and industry trends to continuously improve EDI operations Who You Are: Have a strong work ethic and can-do attitude, leaving a positive impression on everyone you interact with Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional stakeholders, fostering a cohesive team environment Strong time management skills and able to act with a sense of urgency Highly organized, detail oriented and efficient multitasker Self-starter and thrives in a fast-paced environment with minimal guidance Comfortable wearing many hats and moving fluidly between tasks Utilize relevant industry jargon and terminology consistently in both verbal and written communications Act and propose new ideas and solutions before asked You are positive, upbeat, and friendly—with a can-do attitude and a knack for solving problems Self-described beauty enthusiast, passionate about hair care Requirements What You’ll Need: Skills: Proven people management capabilities and working knowledge to lead and develop a team of EDI professional(s) Strong familiarity with ERP systems and process flows Strong computer skills with working knowledge of MS Office Software: Outlook, Word, and Excel Strong knowledge of EDI software and platforms such as SPS, GXS, Sterling Gentran, and MS BizTalk Knowledge of SQL databases and programming languages Knowledge of supply chain, order management, and procurement processes Experience analyzing and interpreting written material and quantitative data to draw conclusions and make recommendations based on that data Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various departments and external partners Strong organizational and “follow-up” skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment Education : High school diploma or GED required Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field preferred Experience : 5+ years of EDI experience required 3+ years’ experience managing and leading a team of EDI professionals Experience with EDI documents in the retail industry strongly preferred Experience with SPS/Data Masons strongly preferred Nice to haves: Skills: Experience with D365 F&SCM Experience with ticketing software, for example Azure DevOps Competitive Compensation: The expected base salary range for this position is $110,000 to $120,000. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including geographic location, experience, skills, and education. Discretionary Bonus Plan: This position is also eligible for participation in the company discretionary bonus plan, based on personal performance and company results.
