Job Overview Dismantles, inspects, repairs and assembles all types of mining equipment along with associated component parts such as gears, pumps, etc.
Uses the following tools: Hand tools, pneumatic tools, welding equipment, tow motor, hoists, shop measuring devices, band saw, cutting torches, computer, etc.
Key Job Responsibilities \n - Dismantles and inspects complete machines and their component parts.
\n - Determines necessary repairs and orders parts as required
\n - Installs bearings, oil seals, etc., and assembles the completed part
\n - Installs repaired parts on complete machines using necessary hand tools and welding equipment
\n - Cuts and installs hydraulic hoses and fittings
\n - Uses SAP system to order parts
\n - Uses press to straighten parts and cutting equipment to reshape parts
\n - Uses tow motors and hoists to move and position parts
\n - Operates steam cleaner as necessary.
\n - Obeys all safety rules and performs housekeeping functions.
\n - Assembles and performs final assembly work.
\n - Cross functional work force.
\n

- Proper operation of fork trucks

- Proper operation of cranes

- Safety training (Haz-Com, Lock Out / Tag Out, PPE, MSDS, Housekeeping, Lifting, Electrical)

- Knowledgeable of ISO

- Use presses
\n
- Use test stands
\n
- Use bead blaster and shot blaster
\n
- Use grinders
\n
- Use porta-power
\n
- Basic computer skills
\n
- Knowledgeable of SAP applications

- Understands Preload
\n
- Understands Backlash
\n
- Operates steam cleaner

- Operates band saw
\n
- Uses cutting torches

- Use torques wrenches

Additional Information ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS __________ Two years experience in heavy equipment or automotive
transmissions

drive set
