Job Title: Product Quality Control Coordinator (Beauty)

Client Location: El Segundo, CA onsite

Salary/Pay Rate: $23.18 to $25.76 an Hour

Hours: Full-time

Duration: 6 months with the possibility to extend

In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for inspecting incoming products from various vendors, conducting rigorous reviews of artwork, color accuracy, and other essential quality tests. Your detailed reports will provide critical insights, driving continuous improvement in the production process. You'll also play a key role in maintaining an organized and efficient quality workroom, ensuring smooth operations for the entire team.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect incoming products from vendors, meticulously reviewing artwork, color, and other aspects as required.
• Generate comprehensive reports based on inspection findings, highlighting any discrepancies or areas for improvement.
• Conduct various tests on packaging components, bulk materials, and finished goods to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Maintain the organization and efficiency of the quality workroom, managing incoming product volume and storage.
• Provide technical support to production units, vendors, and quality labs regarding quality system and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in a Science or Engineering Discipline, or equivalent experience in Manufacturing with a strong emphasis on quality.
• Experience with compliance to FDA and ISO guidelines, including SOPs, auditing, and documentation requirements.
• Proficiency in statistical sampling techniques and conducting tests on various product components.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $23.18 to $25.76 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
