Senior Financial Analyst

Denver, CO (hybrid downtown)

$125-155K + bonus

Bell & Associates has been engaged by our client in the financial/investment services space to find their first Senior Financial Analyst! You will play a key role in driving strategic financial decisions at the corporate level. This position leads forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis efforts that directly impact business growth and profitability. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in both finance and accounting, a sharp analytical mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. Responsibilities

• Provide financial insights and support to the Corporate Controller to enhance decision-making and strategic planning
• Analyze financial results, including period-over-period and budget variances, to identify key trends, risks, and opportunities
• Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
• Build and maintain complex financial models to guide business strategy and operational decisions
• Partner with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to evaluate strategic initiatives and align financial plans with business goals
• Oversee the monthly financial reporting process, including variance analysis and management reporting packages
• Support accounting functions with monthly journal entries, reconciliations, and other close activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting
• 5+ years corporate financial planning and analysis experience
• 2+ years previous accounting experience
• Advanced financial modeling capabilities and strong analytical acumen
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power BI and large ERP systems
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with proven experience presenting to C-level executives
