Job Description

First National Bank of America is seeking a highly organized Senior Auditor to join the internal audit team. The Senior Internal Auditor is a crucial member in the Bank's effort to identify and communicate risks affecting the organization. First National believes that three talents make great auditors. First, they must have a natural curiosity that drives them to understand the details about whichever process they are assessing. This means they must be excellent listeners and great questioners. Secondly, they must not lose sight of key principles or the larger picture despite those details. Lastly, the auditor must be able to distinguish actual risk from what may be perceived. The willingness and ability to communicate with staff at all levels of the organization is necessary in this position. Responsibilities

Supervision of audit projects including planning, data collection, interviewing, completion and review of workpapers, and report writing
Provide guidance and training to staff with less experience
Facilitate testing of financial statement controls and compliance with FDICIA requirements
Communicates audit results to various stakeholders as necessary
Ensure follow up reviews on audit report findings are completed
Engage in continuous knowledge development regarding Internal Audit and Banking

Qualifications:

3+ years' experience that aligns with the job responsibilities will be considered, examples of which may include:
Prior experience in internal or external auditing
Experience managing projects from start to finish
Internal control development, review, or testing
Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements
Ability to work proficiently with Microsoft Office and databases
Strong relationship building skills
Prior experience in Financial Services is a plus
