I have a 12-month CONTRACT hybrid opportunity for a Sr. Technical Writer to join an organization in Plano, Texas that partners with industry trailblazers to help the world communicate and collaborate more quickly, securely, and intelligently. Their work impacts how billions of users experience the digital world, and now, theyre looking to elevate the way their technology is documented.

Your Role:

1. Lead the effort to overhaul and modernize existing technical documentation spanning two decades.
2. Use your expertise in RoboHelp to create AI-friendly content designed for chatbot consumption.
3. Work closely with a senior technical writer and an intern to ensure alignment and consistency across materials.
4. Dive into content that lives at the intersection of IT, networking, and telecommunications.

What Youll Need:

1. Senior-level experience in technical writing, particularly in the IT, networking, or telecommunications space.
2. Expertise with RoboHelp and experience preparing documentation for AI/chatbot integration.
3. Strong familiarity with internet protocols, Wi-Fi, and network testing environments.
4. A collaborative, communicative personality; someone who enjoys working across teams to bring clarity to complexity.

Bonus Points For:

1. A background in telecommunications or experience supporting telecom documentation projects.

This is a one-year contract role offering partial remote flexibility. You'll work a few days each week on-site in Plano, TX, and the rest remotely, striking a balance between collaboration and autonomy.
