The La Crosse Area Family YMCA is hiring a Summer Day Camp Nutrition Services Driver to support our Community Outreach Food Access Team. This part- time position is responsible for delivering meals and snacks to 9 area summer day camp sites, ensuring children have access to healthy food throughout the summer. Under the direction of the Food Access Director, this role is perfect for someone looking to give back to the community while working flexible morning hours.
The typical schedule is 6: 00 AM – 10: 30 AM , with opportunities for additional hours if desired.
We’re looking for a dependable and punctual team player who can work independently and is passionate about making a difference. This is a great opportunity to be part of a mission-driven team dedicated to improving access to nutritious meals for all.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record .
Ability to safely operate a YMCA- provided vehicle .
Ability to lift, twist, stand, and carry up to 50 pounds with the assistance of rolling carts.
Strong dependability, punctuality , and ability to work independently.
Availability to work 6: 00 AM – 10: 30 AM , Monday through Friday, during the summer months.
Commitment to supporting community food access initiatives .
Positive, team-oriented attitude with a passion for community service .
