We’re a fast-growing startup in the manufacturing space, building innovative products with a focus on quality, sustainability, and local impact. As we scale, we’re looking for a self-driven, resourceful, and entrepreneurial  Supply Chain Manager  to take ownership of our sourcing, logistics, and inventory operations.

Role Overview

As our Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing our supply chain strategy, with a strong focus on  sourcing materials from local providers . You’ll also lead the design and implementation of a scalable  inventory control process  to support our growing production needs. This role requires a hands-on, solutions-oriented mindset and the ability to thrive in a dynamic startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with  local suppliers and vendors  for raw materials and components.
• Develop and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Oversee  shipping, logistics, and inventory management , ensuring timely delivery and minimal disruption.
• Adapt sister-facility inventory control system, ERP and MRP to effectively track materials, reduce waste, and support production planning.
• Collaborate with production and operations teams to forecast material needs and align supply chain activities.
• Implement systems and processes to track procurement, inventory, and supplier performance.
• Continuously seek opportunities to  optimize costs, reduce lead times , and improve supply chain resilience.
• Navigate the challenges of a startup environment with a  hands-on, problem-solving mindset .

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics (manufacturing experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of  local sourcing strategies , vendor management, and inventory control.
• Experience with  shipping, freight, and logistics coordination .
• Demonstrated ability to  design and manage inventory systems  (manual or software-based).
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in supply chain software or ERP systems is a plus.
• Startup experience or entrepreneurial mindset  is highly valued.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with minimal supervision.
