Ascension Search has partnered with a well-known investment company looking to add a Tax Manager to join their growing tax department. This role will focus on all tax related activities, including compliance and reporting functions. This role will be responsible for ensuring tax procedures follow all federal, state, and local tax laws regulations. Experience in partnership tax returns (1065s) and K-1's are also required. Primary Duties: Work closely with outsourced providers to produce tax filings Preparing 1065's and K-1 reporting and tax preparation process Assist with tax basis financial statement reporting to ensure accuracy and completeness to filed return Assist in development of accounting monthly and quarterly close procedures including partner allocations and tax capital Ensure reporting is accurate, timely, complete and consistent Education/Experience Level: CPA or candidate of CPA preferred Master's Degree preferred Experience with complex partnership concepts and allocations Real estate and alternative funds knowledge 5 years of US tax experience with focus in partnership tax Ascension Search Partners
