Description Baylor Scott and White Medical Center - Pflugerville is seeking Trauma and Acute Care Surgeons to join the Department of Surgery at our hospital in Pflugerville, TX . We are expanding our Trauma Surgery service team and looking to add a visionary physician leader to oversee and advance trauma care as we pursue Level III Trauma Designation. Candidates must be BC/BE in both General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care. Position Information Responsibilities will include: Clinical Leadership Evaluation of all trauma and emergency general surgery consults Rounding for the STICU and Trauma Acute Care Surgery Services OR coverage for Trauma, Emergency General Surgery, and Elective General Surgery Ensure adherence to evidence-based practices, ACS standards, and institutional protocols. Mission Regional outreach and commitment to trauma and emergency surgical services Involvement in both TQIP and NSQIP Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to trauma team members including acute care surgeons, advanced practice providers, and nursing staff.
