To support our continued growth, we are looking for the most exceptional finance professionals to join our Amazon Business Payments Finance team.
As a Senior Financial Analyst on this team, you will be supporting new launches and existing payment methods for our worldwide business customers focusing on our small business co-brand credit card. This role involves partnering with business and marketing teams to model new deal/product economics, support financial planning and reporting processes for existing products, and conduct ad hoc analysis. This requires a candidate with strong attention to detail, the ability to balance multiple priorities, and the ability to build strong partnerships with cross functional (business and marketing) teams.

Key job responsibilities
Ideal candidates will have the following strengths:
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
• The ability to translate large amounts of data into useful information and actionable conclusions
• Strong written and oral communication skills combined with the ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads
• An understanding of finance issues in an operational environment of rapid growth
• The ability to work cross-functionally with product, operations, marketing and BI teams
• Good business judgment and controllership focus
• Strong financial modelling skills, including good knowledge of SQL and excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- Bachelor's degree
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
